BGN Invitational 8

Hello everyone!

It's again time for everyone's favorite event, the Blizzard Gaming Night Invitational. This tournament has been dominated by two players, Kilahace and BlizzForums's very own SuperKiller who have now each won the competition three times. The BGN Invitational 8 will be very similar in format to that of the BGN Invitational 7 in which you will be competing in what amounts to a double elmination tournament in groups of 4 all the way through until the final championship series which is best of 7.

The BGN Invitational 8 will occur again on a series of consecutive Sunday's over the course of the month of May. To sign up for the tournament, you need to let me know which of the two dates work better for you. Those dates are: Sunday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 10th beginning at 3:00 PM EST.

Anyone from BlizzForums is welcome to take part and you can sign up here or by sending me an e-mail at kevin.mccrumb@gmail.com.

May 3 and 10 are perfect. What are the maps? Are they from the WGT pack? or are they from somewhere else?

Map Pool:

1. Python
2. Tau Cross
3. Luna
4. Destination
5. Medusa
6. Andromeda
7. Longinus

Most likely I'll be just using the ICCup maps but also including the WGTour maps in the pack just in case.

Also, if you don't list a preference for date for the 3rd or the 10th, I will just place you on the date that I need people.

Oh before I forget as well, Sunday @ 3:00 PM EST is the next Blizzard Gaming Night. I'll probably make another thread about it Thursday, but I figured those who visit this are more apt to show up for BGN anyways.

I'm confused. Is the Iccup version of Longinus with the double gas expansions or reverted back to single gas?

I've never seen a version of longinus without the double gas expansions.
