You draw in a breath to shout a retort, but the woman speaks up before you can make a sound. "Don't yell. Don't talk so loud, either. They'll take any excuse to give you a thrashing." She speaks with a strange, twangy accent. "After your stunt-- dumb, by the way-- they threw you in with the rest of us and shipped us out. You're up the river now, brother. Welcome to the slave hauler."

You feel your heart drop into your boots. Your ship, the kid, your money, your drugs, the guns, they're all gone-- unless the slave masters took them aboard. Don't try any impossible feats without thinking first. And check out the cell you're in.

Trying to keep calm, you take a quick look at the cell. Besides the three other inmates on wall-mounted benches, there is not much to see. There is a horrid-smelling bucket on the floor nearby. You don't have to look inside to guess its purpose, nor do you want to. Turning around, you see a set of bars with a slot, underneath which a wide trough is fitted, presumably for feeding.

As though your captors had been reading your mind, you then hear a slurping, plopping sound and press your face closer to the bars to look down the aisle between the long row of cells. Accompanied by a guard armed with a pistol, which he occasionally waves and points at the cells, an extremely fat man wheels along a steaming vat on a cart, from which he ladles something truly revolting into the slot in the bars, dumping it into the troughs. Despite how disgusting the stuff may look and smell to you, you immediately hear the gooey sound of messy, ravenous eating. The cart wheels a little closer, and the process repeats.

"All right, chow time," the uniformed man says. "I get first eats, hero, and I hope you got no problem with that, for your sake."

What do you do?

Let him eat first, you might be able to make a friend. Plus that stuff doesn't sound too good for you anyways.

Beat the shit out of him, or give him a ironic death by making him drown in the slop.

You can hardly explain what happens next. Your fury at your unfortunate position comes to a head, and before you can think twice about it your foot comes up to catch the uniformed man in the jaw, snapping his head back as he shouts in surprise and pain. You pull him off of his bench and throw him to the floor, delivering another kick to his ribs before hunkering down to pound at his face.

Then you feel hands pulling you away, and hard blows landing all over your body. Your angry daze lifts, and you notice the guards swarming over you, and the pandemonium that has engulfed the cell block. As you are dragged out of your cell, you see the other prisoners rattling their bars, shouting, roused out of their complacency with a little taste of violence. The guards shout for them to quiet down to no effect, and as you are pulled along the rusted deck plating, you hear the chant rising in the narrow hall: "He-ro! He-ro! He-ro!"

As you reach the end of the cell block, you are pulled through a heavy metal door by the two guards holding your arms. You continue down a long, deserted, and totally featureless hallway as the ache of your beating spreads across your body.

What do you do?

Even humble about your humility. How enviable.

On topic: How big are the guards?

Aching all over, you try desperately to pull your scattered thoughts together. This might be your only chance-- you've got to escape now or never.

The two men haul you across the deck to a shiny metal door. Craning your neck, you see that it has only a tiny window up top, and a tiny slot further down. Clearly, you're headed for solitary. One lets go of your arm for a moment to unlock the door, and you make your move.

You spin, wrenching and twisting your arm, and more through surprise than the strength of the maneuver you manage to pull out of the guard's grip. With your newly freed hand, you make a fist and slam it into the man's groin. He howls and stumbles back, falling hard to the floor.

You're on your feet.

The second guard is whirling around with his pistol in hand-- you catch his arm and punch him in the throat, dropping him to his knees as he clutches his windpipe, choking. Grasping his head, you knee him in the face and he goes down.

Maybe you've still got it after all.

What do you do?

Grab the gun, kill the guards, hide the bodies(probably in the cell), and then find out where you are.
